Sunday stitching was fruitful. I worked on Humboldt Coast my Sunday SAL with Kati, and got lots done.
I am really looking forward to two fishing derbies that are coming up at the end of this month and the beginning of next month. Two weekends where hubby is going to be out of town and ice fishing for the two weekends in a row...which means uninterrupted stitching! Can't wait!!!
It is yet a meager little start, but it's a start. I don't know whether I want to stitch on this thru the Olympics, or should I start a new "olympic stitching" project. Do any of you start a new project for the Olympics? I am an Olympics junkie as some may call me, but when I mentioned that I have to pick an Olympic stitching project...that took them over the edge! LOL I guess only us stitchy people understand. Anyway this is my start on Mirabilia's Elizabeth. I'm stitching her on Silkweavers "floral bliss"after a few floss tosses I like how the colours popped on this the best.

Wow, Humboldt Coast is looking amazing! You've gotten so much stitched! Great new start too. I've never done an Olympics start but I've heard a few bloggers mention it. :)
excellent progress on both! I'm looking forward to seeing more Elizabeth, and I keep checking your humbolt coast out to see what all I have left to stitch!!
I don't usually pick an Olympic project, but I am an Olympic junkie! Especially the winter games!
The coast is really coming together and becoming more real every time I see it! Like I can feel the spray touching my face. Have fun Olympic stitching!
Your coastal work is stunning!!! What a fabulous design & your stitching is perfect. Have fun with your stitching during the Olympics... I did this during the summer one too!
Great progress on both. I think you definitely made the right decision on the fabric, it's a beautiful colour.
Beautiful stitching! Humboldt is looking amazing, and your new Mira start looks good.
Wow, Humboldt Coast is looking amazing! I got a close-up look at the fabric you're using and it's perfect for this sea-side stitchy project.
Wow--what great progress, Barbi--such a realistic looking design!!
Hmmm...I never thought about an Olympic piece. I only watch the coverage in spurts. I look forward to watching your progress on your Elizabeth piece and enjoy those two uninterrupted weekends of stitching time!! Lucky you :)
Wow again! So beautiful!! :)
Some beautiful stitching on your blog and Humboldt Coast is making good progress..
