On your mark, get set, SAL!

Just a quickie post today.  Monday's SAL of Lizzie Kate's 6 Fat Men started last night.  I had started it out on Violet Mist, but I didn't think that the white popped out as much as I wanted it too.  Colonial Blue was my second choice, so I frogged and started it again. I love it on this fabric. Don't you love that "O"?

It's going to be a fun stitch!  Don't know how fast my progress is going to be on it though, cause Monday's I don't have a lot of stitching time.  About an hour, sometimes two...I'm usually tired on Monday's cause it's such a busy day at work.  But I'll plug along.

So pretty!!! Yours looks soooooo much better than mine!! It is my first time on such a small count fabric, and I didn't get an evenweave, so that is making it even harder!! I haven't pulled it back out since my first attempt!! So what are the rules on the SAL? Care if I join?

You got farther than I did. I do love your fabric color also. Mine is pretty close to the same color. I was going to use the first piece I bought but it was so tighly woven (it was a really nice piece of fabric) that I couldn't ssee the holes to stitch into. It was 28 count Monaco.

You've done a great job in such a short time. It will be fun seeing how everyone gets on with it each week. It's already interesting to see where everyone is starting from.

Lovely start, Barbi. Oh yes, that O is just perfect ^.^ Too bad about Violet Mist but I think your second choice is a wonderful one.

Hugs,
Veronica.

I'll look forward to your progress on this one. I've already stitched it and I never thought of doing it on blue material. I'm sure it will look much different than mine.
