All it took was a little something fresh. So I picked up and stitched CHS's Wash Day. I fell in love with this chart when I saw it from the Nashville releases and order it right away. So now I can happily put it in my pile of samplers that I am fixing to find a wall for some day.
Wash day by CHS - Stitched on 28 ct Fairy Dust lugana
Poor Elizabeth didn't get any stitches put in her yesterday. We had the new baby over, and family and a bbq. It was full of activity, and it's hard to concentrate on anything else when there's a newborn in the house for the first time. It's amazing how a whole group of people can sit around and marvel at a sleeping child for hours, but that's exactly what we did. And I wouldn't have traded it for anything. We were a little worried about how Lulu would handle it, but she was as much of a lady as she always was, and after a few minutes of nervous jealousy, she settled down and knew that little Jaxon was a member of family and all was well. She cried when he cried! LOL So cute!
So Elizabeth will have to wait until next weekend, but with it being Mother's day, I don't know how much will be done on her next Sunday either. But we'll see how the day progresses.
This is my favorite picture of the official wedding pictures....

Great finish on Wash Day~~ I saw this pattern online today and had just added it to my next stash shopping list~~ This is such a cute design!!!
Love the wedding photo as well~~ They are such a lovely couple!!!
Well, so happy you got your Mojo back and with a bang at that! Lovely finish, I love that one...need to stitch it very soon!
What a great picture from the wedding, haven't seen it before! I have to admit, I cried a lot when I watched it. Just kept thinking about how much Princess Diana would have loved that day and how sad that she didn't get to see it. As a mom, it was very gut wrenching, even though it was such a happy thing....sigh.....

Beautiful finish! Congrats. I have that pattern waiting in the wings.
Oh, I love your Wash Day finish, Barbi--it is one of my favorites. I mean who can resist those baby birds taking their morning bath?!
So cute about Lulu crying at the same time as the baby. And I know just what you mean about adults being entertained for hours by a sleeping infant--we had one at the shower I was at on Saturday and the same thing happened!
Hope your week is going well :)
yeah on Mojo returning! Great finish and glad you had time with the newborn :)
Fantastic finish, and great to hear your mojo is back! I love this pattern I have it in my stash as well, and seeing yours makes me want to start it!
I love the official wedding pictures, this one and the one of the two of them are so perfect! Her dress was just amazing!
Cute about Lulu, glad to hear she accepted Jaxon so quickly! I didn't even know you were going to be a great-auntie!!! Congrats to everyone!!!
