Happy Dance & Progress

My little valentine finish that I loved from the first time I saw it, and then I had to track down the chart, and I'm so glad that I have a stitching fairy god-sister that was able to help me with this one.  Isn't it pretty, I love this valentine freebie by Erica Michaels.  It's an oldie but a goodie.

Hugs and Kisses  by Erica Michaels stitched on 28 ct White Jobelan

Progress on Sockeye is coming along.  I'm actually love it at the moment, so I'm going to stitch thru this one this weekend and see how far I get.  However a feel a sinus/head cold coming on and I might not be able to see it by the time the weekend gets here...but I'm going to try.

Hubby is leaving for a fishing derby this weekend.  Leaving tomorrow night and coming home on Sunday.  So I'll have lots of stitching time this weekend (if the sinus cold allows)  Stitching and the Oscars...and lots of great junk food.  That's what my weekend is going to consist of.  It's only Wednesday and I'm already looking forward to the weekend!  wooo hooo  Hopefully by the end of the weekend, my fish will have a head!

Who doesn't love hugs and kisses, Barbi--what a cute little piece!

My husband is visiting his parents until Monday, so I am in the same situations as you. Too bad we don't live closer--we could just stay in our PJs and sit and stitch all weekend :) Enjoy your free time!

That is a very cute Valentine piece! Congratulations on the finish.

Have fun this weekend. Having plenty of quiet stitching time sounds like a wonderful way to spend the time alone.
