It's been a while

Again I'm late in posting my progress on my SAL and then I realize that I hadn't posted it for last week either!  EEKK!!!  Oh well, I'm posting it now.  I can almost see the end of this project coming closer, I've got the saying to stitch and then the border.  Which makes me smile cause it almost took me a month to stitch the border on Snapperyear...LOL   I am NOT a border stitcher...obviously!  But we'll see how it goes.

I've started stitching LHN ornie of the month Fa-la-la.  That one is taking a little longer than usual for me too because I'm stitching it on 28 ct over 1.  But it's looking good, I'm hoping that I will have a happy dance on that one by the end of the week.

I've been working out every day as well.  Not for long, just 30-45 minutes a day, and I'm starting to feel and see some results.  The scale is starting to reward my efforts as well.  I've already well surpassed my goal for this month.  But then the first week or so is always a big payoff on the scale.  The rest is hard work.

I love your neighborhood progress pretty!
And you don't think 30-45 minutes of workout is not long? The American Heart Association (just read this in a magazine) did a test and found that 30 minutes per day of exercise in the "moderate" level maintains maximum results. They actually word it as 30 mins on "most" days. So, you're doing PERFECT on the work out! I've been doing my 30 min work outs 6 days per week since 9/21/10. I know I can tell a difference not only in my weight, but in my happiness too! So good for us both!

Beautiful stitching! Well done with your workouts too, I'm glad you can see the results, it's a great incentive to keep it up.

Congrats on your successes....especially the working out and battle with the scale. Right now me and the scale are at a stalemate!

A big congratulation on both your stitch piece (so pretty) and your exercise goals. It's amazing what just a little bit of time working out will do for you! Keep up the good work!

Love your progress, Barbi! I'm not a border person either, but I try to stitch them as I go so it's not all left for the end.

I love working out and don't think there is anything better for your mental (or physical) well-being. I always feel so good when I'm finished :)

I was thinking of doing the LHN Fa-La-La over one, too, so I'll be watching for your finish!

Barbi, it looks great!

Good job girl, working out every day all it takes is moving more and eating a little less, making wise choices! I try to do something every day as well it does start to show after a little while. But don't you wish there was a magic pill?
