Here's my little LHN Ornie SAL piece...finally. It took a long time to stitch it but it was worth it. The 1 over 1 takes quite a bit longer for me than an over 2 does, But it comes out so delicate and dainty in the end that I love it. I meant to put a ruler beside the ornie so you could see how small it it, but I couldn't find my ruler, I'll have to do it next time. However at this size the beads recommended are too big, and the faces are difficult to do...so I did what a lot of other stitchers of this piece did and left the facial features off.
Fa-La-La by Little House Needleworks. Stitched on 28 ct. Star Sapphire 1 over 1
So today I am going to start the next ornie in the series and stitch Pear Tree. I'm hoping that after I go out and do my grocery shopping I can just stitch the afternoon and evening away.

Very pretty! Congrats.
I love it, Barbi! Awesome tiny finish!
Oh, Barbi! This is so funny--I just began this same piece, one over one yesterday! It is just the cutest little thing--yours looks great. I was wondering about doing the faces, too. Not sure what I'll do with them...
Great Job. I haven't dared to try one over one yet. I might have to try it.
Happy Stitching,
Hillery
That looks fantastic over 1. I am a big fan of over 1 stitching.
