Hubby had to work this weekend, he was on call at two plants this weekend, and they pretty much kept him busy all 3 days of the Labour Day weekend. As much as I didn't like that he wasn't home...I have to admit (but don't tell him) that I had a GREAT weekend! I worked on and finished my September Ornament
Design - North Pole sign
Designer - Leisure Arts
Stitched on 28 ct white lugana
I worked on and finished my September square on my BC Snapper Year - September Brings
And I stitched a good chunk of my LHN - Neighbourhood SAL piece with Kati. I'm hoping that next Sunday I'll be able to finish the middle level of this piece. I love this project, but I do find it a bit hard to keep myself motivated thru the blocks of colours on the houses. But I'm not complaining...just stating a peeve. LOL
Then today...dant dant daaaaaa....we picked up our tickets for Vegas. Me and a couple of girlfriends are leaving the hubby's behind and heading down for a girls weekend! WOO HOOO!!!!! I'm so excited. Sept 24 - Sept 27th! So hopefully I can find at least one stitchy shop to spend some money in! If anyone knows of any I am open for suggestions. And any other shopping as well! WOOO HOOOO (Yea, I'm not excited at all. LOL)
So that's my update for today. Going to stitch on ROS for the rest of the week. Next week I should be able to show some decent progress on her.

Great pictures, love the ornament, and you've made fantastic progress on the SAL! You're bent creek one is looking great too.
I've sent you an email about the stitchy store in Vegas! Great place!
Beautiful finishes and great progress!
Such a cute ornament, Barbi! And congrats on the progresses you made! Have a great trip later this month, sounds like such fun!
I know there is a shop in Vegas but don't know the details. My firend kathy at http://kathyssitandstitch.blogspot.com could tell you as she winters in Arizona and goes to Vegas when she has visitors so knows it fairly well.
You did have a good stitchy weekend, everything looks great!
Excellent stitching. As always I'm so fond of seeing your updates to the Snapper year ~ September is really cute! (Shhh...I'm a little behind on my monthly project!)
I'll bet you are counting the hours until your trip!
There is an EXCELLENT stitchy shop down there called Stitchers Paradise. 2550 S Rainbow Blvd, (702) 227-9735 (no website). She has everything. I always make a point of going there while I'm in Vegas. It's cheaper to rent a tiny car than take a cab there though! Let me know what you think if you make it there!
